Can I Combine Static and Ticker Sub-Widgets?⁠›››

I want t make a timing tower with a static title at the top. I have a Timing Tower widget, with a Tower Title sub-widget and Entry Position sub-widgets. The widget is a ticker, and Entry Position is the template. In the designer everything looks good with the title above the template. But when I run the theme there's no title. Is it possible to mix template and static elements in a ticker widget, or does the dynamic nature of a ticker take over? I've tried setting the ticker header, but it doesn't make a difference.

btw, The in forum image upload appears to be broken.

I've never once gotten header and footers for tickers to work correctly.

What I usually do is have a background widget and then the main ticker as a second widget. You can probably put your "Tower Title" stuff in the background widget.
