Idea - Is it possible to use data incoming from Google Sheets to pop up on screen?⁠›››

Hi all,

New to this and TBH I don't really work with this stuff (I am the guy who does all the back end forms for our group). We are hosting the PCDC & TeamBRIT event (Silverstone Six) in conjunction with RaceSpot.

I am making the incident reporting forms and everything for the drivers and part of our improvement will give access to this to the Commentators but I had a thought go through my mind.

Is it possible to have when the spreadsheet updates it auto shows a message on the screen? Like the race control messages in F1.

I have made in the spreadsheet the different type of race control messages that could be shown but wondering if this was at all possible?

There is no support for a google spreadsheet at the moment. I could add it but it will be rather complicated to work with as you need things like authorization. Probably a lot of effort for not much gain.

You can always use a simple Input control to show any text on a Label and copy/paste the latest message in there.
