Fps drop down until click back the iracing game window⁠›››

hi all,

i m having a big FPS drop down issue, using atvo. to explain i m using on screen for iracing ( window mode) and 1 screen for atvo control display.
Each time i ask atvo to show widget ( with or without animation) Iracing FPS drop down in 1920x1080 from 270 fps to around 50 fps. it doesn t not recover the normal framerate until i click back on the i racing game window.

please note that this not hapening using atvo on my older pc runing on win 7 with a low I5 and an old Radeon graphic card.

This is due to your iRacing settings, there is a setting in the app.ini file that tells iRacing to drop to low framerate when it loses focus. Disable that.

thank you for your answer, Unfortunetly this App.ini "low framerate when it loses focus" line is already set to 0, so already disable.
i add in attachment my app.ini file.

any other idea?

Does it happen without ATVO as well just by removing focus? I don't see how this can be related to ATVO.

its only happeing with ATVO, and only when a theme is loaded. i mean i can open / close the ATVO contol panel , open the tracktime window, change cam or driver without any freeze. but as soon as the them is active , each command drop down the Iracing game till i click back on Iracing window. Buy doing that all the fps come back even if there is plenty of widget animated widget

Cube it is a ini setting inside iracing that must be adjusted

find this code in it and replace with the second one

reduceFramerate_WhenFocusLost=1  is default with the low fps
reduceFramerate_WhenFocusLost=0  is the setting you need for no fps drop

oops apparently i didn't read sorry about that I see you already have it set correctly.

Hi all, was a bug with rhe win10 maj released in begining of March. They relased on last night that fixed the issue. Thanks all, i will create an other post to ask for help me on my theme wich have errors when the cams are on the safety car.
